Families and the transformation of daily life
Moving from sorrow to joy: the first week at the Jesuit retreat house in Selva di Val Gardena, was focused on families.
Selva: 20 families gathered together for a “transformation of daily life, moving from sorrow to joy”. This is the theme chosen for the first week dedicated to families between July 12 and 18. “The starting point is the theme of the wound of St. Ignatius’ leg, seen however from the viewpoint of hope, as a place from where light can penetrate,” the organizers highlight.
After the daily excursions, two workshops followed: one led by Marco Tibaldi with the enacting of biblical passages through the use of puppets.
The other was led by Maria Grazia Prandino Bovani, where some soul searching is carried out through interpreting drawings or through the creation of clay models of some suggested images. At the end of the day, all experiences and resonances were entrusted in the Eucharist.
