Jesuits for Climate Justice: Faith in Action at COP30

On May 5th, in continuity with the results of the survey on the 4th Universal Apostolic Preference of the Society of Jesus, Ecojesuit launched the campaign: Jesuits for Climate Justice: Faith in Action at COP30.

Motivated by the invitations of Pope Francis and by the words of Fr. General we invite everyone to demand – together with many other organisations – agreements and concrete measures to:

• Cancel the debt of poor countries,
• Establish a clear path of just energy transition,
• And ensure sustainable food sovereignty measures based on agro-ecological practices.

On ecojesuit.com you will constantly find information and training material on our responsibility, as citizens of the world and as believers, to defend, protect, and successfully realize the work of creation.

Let us unite desires, wills and plans, ideas, time and resources, as Fr. General invites us, and in the next seven months let us – together with many others – collaborate in the task of demanding from the governments of the world agreements and concrete measures to protect and heal the planet.
