Rescue, a project on integral ecology with the inmates of Bollate
A dinner at the farmhouse to build a bridge of social and material solidarity with people who are imprisoned or who are experiencing other restrictive measures. This is how Sesta Opera San Fedele, a voluntary association for penitentiary and post-penitentiary assistance, in which the Jesuit Fathers of Milan are involved, intends to promote fundraising to support social integration efforts.
The Association was founded in the San Vittore prison in 1923 and operates in Milan and its provinces in the Prison Institutions of San Vittore, Opera, Bollate, in the Beccaria juvenile prison and in the special ward of the San Paolo hospital and in the Cremona prison.
It provides moral and material assistance to prisoners and their families, promoting their dignity and taking action to remove the causes of marginalization and to facilitate their reintegration into society.
