100 pinne sea and Bible initiatives
After 15 years of successful programs, the 100 Fins “Sea and Bible” initiative, offers this year four experiences for youth and young adults: two in Sicily, one in Sardinia and one in Albania.
These include a mixture of a beach vacation, a Bible reading course and an enriching dynamic experience of living together.
Detailed courses will be offered in Ragusa, Cagliari and one in Vlore, Albania.
These are the dates:
- Ragusa: 1st course July 27 – August 4, 2025
- Cagliari: August 4 – 11, 2025
- Ragusa: 2nd course August 5-14, 2025
- Vlore (Albania): September 1 – 7, 2025
“As always,” Fr. Cesare Geroldi explained, “in the morning we will read a biblical text together and, in the afternoon, until sunset, we will spend time by the sea or visiting the fantastic natural and artistic sites of the places where we are invited.”
These are the biblical themes that will be offered this summer: In the first course in Ragusa, texts on “Jubilee in the Bible”; in the second, “The Book of Ruth”. In Cagliari, the course will focus on “Being according to God’s heart: the way of David”. And in Vlora, the lectio will be on “Jn 9: the story of a loser, blind from birth, ranging from spitting on the ground, indifferent parents and… the glory of God!
